Seed Loyalty Club Terms & Conditions

  • ‘Seed’ is the trading name for the loyalty club promoted by The Plant Place GC Ltd (The Plant Place). The Seed card and app remain the property of The Plant Place.

    Lost or damaged cards may be replaced at the discretion of The Plant Place.

    The Plant Place reserves the right to terminate Seed at any time by giving three months’ notice of its intention to do so. Any such notice will be posted on The Plant Place website.

  • Only one Seed membership is permitted per individual.

    Unless you are an employee of The Plant Place, you must be over the age of 18. The Plant Place employees, groups, charities or businesses may be excluded from certain aspects of Seed at any time.

  • This voucher entitles you to 10% off all full-priced items in a single transaction excluding all gift cards and garden furniture. The discount will be applied to the value of your eligible purchases. This voucher cannot be used on discounted items, items already on sale, or in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, or discount code. This voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The expiry date will be clearly displayed on your app. To redeem the voucher, it must be surrendered at the time of purchase (in-store). This voucher is a one-time use only voucher and cannot be reused. Seed Loyalty Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. This voucher has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services. Seed Loyalty Club reserves the right to cancel or deactivate the voucher in case of suspected fraud or misuse. By joining the Seed Loyalty Club and accepting this voucher, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Rewards received via app or email, in particular vouchers must be redeemed in store by the Seed member using the barcode from either the app or email.

  • Seed Loyalty Points are exclusively available to registered members of The Plant Place Seed Loyalty Club. Members earn 2 Seed Loyalty Points for every £1 spent on qualifying purchases made at The Plant Place. Points are awarded upon the presentation and scanning of the Seed Loyalty Card at the point of purchase. Points are earned on the final transaction amount after all reductions and deductions, including sale prices, have been applied. Please note that points are not awarded for the purchase of gift cards, delivery charges, or build/installation service charges. Promotional periods offering bonus points, such as double or triple points, will be subject to specific terms and conditions, which will be communicated separately to members.

    Each Seed Loyalty Point has a monetary value of £0.01 (1p). These points can be redeemed in-store for full or partial payment of purchases. Points cannot be exchanged for cash. Members can conveniently check their Seed Loyalty Points balance via The Plant Place App or by asking a member of staff in-store. At this time, The Plant Place does not have an expiration date for points, however The Plant Place reserves the right to set an expiry date for points, of which, customers will be given reasonable notice.

    The Plant Place reserves the right to modify or terminate the Seed Loyalty Points scheme at any time. In such instances, reasonable notice of any changes or termination will be provided to members through email, website updates, or in-store notices. The Plant Place also reserves the right to remove points earned through fraudulent activity.

  • Eligibility
    Available to registered Seed members only.

    Reward period
    Your birthday reward starts when it is issued to your Seed account and runs for 7 consecutive days.
    Your exact end date will be shown in your Seed account or app.

    How it works
    Your birthday reward is issued as a barcode voucher and must be presented and applied at checkout to receive triple points.
    There is no limit to how many times you can use the reward during your birthday week.

    Where it can be used
    Eligible purchases made in:

    • The Plant Place, and

    • The Garden Room Café.

    Exclusions
    Triple points are not awarded on:

    • gift cards

    • delivery charges

    • build or installation service charges

    • garden furniture

    Standard points may still apply to garden furniture.

    Points and redemption
    Points earned will be added to your Seed account and can be redeemed in line with the Seed loyalty programme. Points have no cash value and can only be redeemed in the garden centre.

    Changes to the reward
    We reserve the right to change, replace or withdraw the Seed birthday reward at any time without notice.

    General
    The birthday reward is personal to the member and cannot be transferred.

  • From time to time, The Plant Place will run Seed prize draws during selected seasonal periods.

    The number of prize draws and winners each year is not fixed and may vary at our discretion.

    Winners will be selected at random from eligible Seed member transactions using a random generator. The generator selects a transaction made by a Seed member.

    Winners will be contacted by telephone or email.

    By taking part in a Seed prize draw, you acknowledge that The Plant Place may request your consent to share your name and/or photo on our social media, website and app. You are under no obligation to agree and may decline any such request.

  • Should you wish at any time to remove your details, please see below 5 simple steps to delete your Seed APP account :

    Step 1: Log into the app

    Step 2: Go to the Account icon

    Step 3: Select the Details tab at the top

    Step 4: Scroll to the bottom and tap ‘Permanently Delete Account’

    Step 5: Enter App password, and tap delete.

    Your customer record is immediately permanently deleted.

  • The Plant Place are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Data Protection Act 2018 – see our Privacy Policy for full details. Your personal information collected by us will be used only for the administration of Seed and to keep you updated by email and app notifications.

    By joining Seed you agree to receive emails and app notifications from us about Rewards and relevant information.

    Your purchase history will be used to look up receipts on your request and to send relevant information and Rewards.

  • 1. Communication Channels:

    We will primarily communicate with you regarding the Seed Loyalty Club via email. This includes sending information about but not limited to:

    • Special offers and promotions

    • Exclusive sales and discounts

    • New product launches

    • Loyalty program updates and benefits

    • Account information and updates

    • Other up to date information about us, our products or customers

    2. Urgent Contact:

    We may contact you by phone call or physical mail for urgent matters only. This includes situations such as:

    • Notifying you about winning a monthly prize draw

    • Addressing issues with your account or purchases

    • Informing you about important changes to the Loyalty Club program

    However, we will only use these methods if you have consented to them within the Loyalty Club app or at point of sign up.

    3. Opting Out of Communication:

    You have the right to manage your communication preferences at any time. Here's how:

    • In-App Settings: You can turn off email communication within the Loyalty Club app under "Account” then “Details".

    • Email Request: You can also unsubscribe from email communication by sending us an email requesting to stop receiving such messages.

    4. Minimum Contact Preference:

    To ensure we can reach you for important information regarding your Loyalty Club membership, you must have at least one communication preference option enabled within the app. This allows us to contact you for essential matters even if you choose to opt-out of emails.

    5. Communication Benefits:

    Emails sent to our Loyalty Club members are intended to be in your best interest. They will keep you informed about:

    • Upcoming special offers and exclusive sales

    • New products and upcoming launches

    • Opportunities to maximise your Loyalty Club benefits

    • Up to date information regarding products

    • Up to date information regarding The Plant Place

    We strive to provide valuable information and updates through our communication channels.
