Welcome to The Garden Room, a brand-new place to eat at The Plant Place Garden Centre. Since 1998, we’ve been growing The Plant Place into a much-loved destination for plants, home and garden. Now, we’re delighted to offer you a place to enjoy seasonally fresh food & drinks.
We are passionate about creating fresh and seasonal dishes. Wherever possible, we use local produce to make menus that celebrate the best of the season.

Dog Policy 🐾
Well-behaved dogs are very welcome in our outdoor seating areas. To keep things safe and comfortable for everyone, we’re unable to allow dogs inside the café.
If you’re visiting with your dog, simply pop inside to place and pay for your order at the counter. Then take a seat on the terrace, relax and we’ll bring your food and drinks out to you.
For an extra special treat, you’ll find a selection of goodies from Ruffingtons and The Barking Bakery available to purchase in the shop.
Dogs are welcome in the first section of the shop near the tills. However, for safety reasons, we’re unable to allow them up the slope into the houseplants, gift, furniture and seasonal areas. If you’re ever unsure, just ask a member of the team we’re always happy to help.
